Ammonites, basically believed to carry the spirit of change and personal growth are an extinct group of aquatic animals. Associated with the third eye and root chakra, it is a grounding fossil which kindles spontaneity and emboldens the wearing individual to brave the unknown. 

Ammonites were shelled cephalopods that died out about 66 million years ago.
